What is Psoriasis?

Psoriasis is a chronic disease that speeds up a group of cell’s life cycles. This causes them to build up rapidly into scaly red patches on the surface of the skin that are itchy and can be painful at times. It is a common condition whose symptoms and signs come and go. Who Gets It?

Women are more likely to be affected by this disease, but men can suffer more complications that affect the eyes do to it. As well, people in the tropics or that have dark skin are not affected in the same numbers as those without.

What Are Symptoms of Psoriasis?
